Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you this Perfectly Pink Pancake you can make for Valentines Day. A pink batter with chocolate chips? Oh for Valentines sake, yes! Of course, I won’t stop you from making it anytime of the year you feel like getting pretty (or tasty) in pink.
Let’s get cooking!
Perfectly Pink Pancake
You can make this with your favorite pancake mix or recipe, and simply add drops of red food color and some semi-sweet chocolate chips. But for this batch, I actually bought a pre-made mix. While doing some blog errands, I found this Perfectly Pink Pancake mix at Walmart! I saw the cute pink packaging and thought, why not? FYI, this ain’t a sponsored post. The super cute packaging just really got me. I was even skeptical about the taste and brand, but it turned out to be good.
But if you’re afraid to try something new or different, like I mentioned above, you can do this with your usual pancake recipe. All you need to add is red food color and chocolate chips to the pancake batter. Once you’ve cooked your pancakes, it’s time to dress it up.
When I cook for my loved ones, I make an extra effort to dress it up. I love styling food just as much as I love to style an outfit. Besides, if you are serving this to your loved one on Valentines Day, go all out and make it pretty and extra special. Drizzle the syrup, twirl the whipped topping, scatter the powdered sugar, top with strawberries or your fave fruit, and sprinkle with lots of love!
After all, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.
STYLEanthropists, always remember to dine in style. Hope you enjoy this Perfectly Pink Pancake idea for the upcoming Valentines Day!
