Now that warmer weather is here, I find myself craving for light and fresh recipes. One of my favorite salads to make is this Asian salad with hints of sesame, mandarin slices and crunchy noodles. But this time around, I thought I’d make this Asian salad recipe extra special with fresh and all-natural ingredients. Instead of opting for canned mandarin, I went with a fresh one. Instead of using bottled Asian salad dressing, I made one from scratch. And finally, instead of using canned crunchy rice noodles for the topping, I’m switching it up to this crunchy Alexia Onion Rings made of all-natural ingredients. Let’s get fancy!

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been in the process of healing my metabolism and energy. I’ve been trying to bounce back from the slump and the hormonal changes, after undergoing some medical treatments that slowed my metabolism, made me sluggish, and left me feeling tired and exhausted every time. In short, I gained some pounds, and lost my energy and some confidence. But don’t get me wrong. It’s not about what the weighing scale shows me, it’s how I feel about my body. I felt weak, less fit, and unhealthy. I lack energy. Obviously, not being able to wear your favorite pants too, was an issue. So after I got done with my treatments, I knew I had to do something to regain control of my body. I need to heal my metabolism, bring back that energy, and overall, just change my lifestyle for the better. If you are in the same situation like me, where your metabolism has slowed and you feel sluggish all the time, then I hope these tips will help you bounce back from it too. I’m almost there.
Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m handing over the blog to my friend Anna, who is kind enough to share her Whole30 Experience. FYI, this is NOT a sponsored post. It’s just that I’ve been hearing a lot about the #Whole30Challenge from friends and friend bloggers back in Dallas, especially right after the Holidays, that I decided to share it on here too.
Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you a Spicy Gourmandise Coffee recipe using Nespresso. I love my Nespresso VertuoLine machine and the amazing flavors that they offer. It makes drinking coffee at home an indulgence. I feel like I’m at a fancy cafe in the corner when I sip on my coffee in the morning. So when I heard they released a limited edition holiday flavor, I couldn’t be more curious.
Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you this Perfectly Pink Pancake you can make for Valentines Day. A pink batter with chocolate chips? Oh for Valentines sake, yes! Of course, I won’t stop you from making it anytime of the year you feel like getting pretty (or tasty) in pink.
Today at STYLEanthropy, we’re talking about the benefits of drinking Green Tea! I personally recommend drinking it everyday. I have been a big enthusiast of green tea ever since I can’t remember. I’ve always loved its taste – from those ready-to-drink bottles, herbal green teas, all the way to the hot or cold teas you can order at your local cafe. Aside from the green tea drinks, I also love green tea-flavored food. For example, I love green tea ice cream, mochi, chocolate and even cakes among others. But today, we’re talking about how drinking it will benefit you health- and beauty-wise.
